The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland is a trade association for the chemical industry and its closely related sectors. Its actions include member services, advocacy and communications. The Federation has over 400 member companies and 14 member, cooperation and agreement associations. The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland is a member of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council. Global cooperation takes place via ICCA, International Council of Chemical Associations. The chemical industry is one of the most important industrial sectors in Finland, accounting for about 20 % of the gross industrial production and 20 % of the exports of goods of Finland. Many innovations and growth areas in the chemical sector are related to circular economy and bioeconomy.
